Interactable objects are a type of object in Superliminal. These types of objects can be interacted with by clicking them. They cannot be grabbed, collected or cloned, and can be clicked only once or twice. You are sometimes required to click an interactable object to progress.

Objects

Terms of Service Document

At the very start of the game, you'll find a "Terms of Service" document on a table and can sign it by clicking it. Signing this document is optional; you can leave it unsigned and continue through the level normally. This interactable object also appears in the Somnasculpt Workshop.

Alarm Clock

This object is seen every level, but as an interactable object it first appears in Optical. While you are near it you will hear four-beeps in quick succession every second until it's turned off by clicking it.

During levels 2 through 6, the time shown on the alarm clock increases by an hour each level, starting from 3:00AM. The time changes back to 3:00AM at the start of level 7.

In Labyrinth and Retrospect, turning off the alarm clock is necessary to progress in each level, since it either opens the door to your room or teleports you to a different location.

Radio

This object is seen in every level except Induction and Retrospect. When clicked, a voice line will play and the flashing red light on it will disappear. Walking a bit ahead of a radio will cause it to activate automatically.

Night Sky Projector

In the secret room near the end of Optical, there are six projectors that make the celling look like the night sky. You can turn them off or on by clicking them, revealing or hiding the celling. This interactable object also appears in Multiplayer.

Flashlight

In Blackout, there's a flashlight that lights up the knife in the kitchen. Strangely, if you click on the flashlight twice, the knife disappears.

IDEA Power Generator

At the end of Blackout, there is an emergency power generator labeled "IDEA". If you click on it, you'll turn the lights on, and the entire room will be illuminated. Since you can't leave the room without turning the lights on, interacting with the power generator is required to open the doors and continue through the level.
